Indiana fell two spots to No. 21 in the updated Coaches Poll following their 27-14 win over Old Dominion in week one.
Florida State and Iowa State were the two team that passed the Hoosiers in the rankings.
Despite the drop, this marks the first time since 1969 IU has been ranked for the first two weeks of the season.
The Big Ten now has three teams in the top-five: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Penn State and No. 5 Oregon. Also ranked from the league are No. 12 Illinois and No. 13 Michigan. IU will face each of Penn State, Oregon and Illinois later this season.
Also receiving votes from the Big Ten are USC, Iowa, Nebraska and Washington. IU will face Iowa later this year as as well.
IU coach Curt Cignetti is one of the coaches who votes on the rankings this season.
In the AP top-25, IU dropped three spots to No. 23. The Hoosiers were also passed by Tennessee in the media poll update. The same Big Ten teams are ranked in the AP poll.
In the ESPN computer models, Indiana moved down 15 spots to No. 37 in SP+, and down five spots to No. 30 in the Football Power Index.
The Hoosiers (1-0) face Kennesaw State (0-1) at Noon ET this Saturday in Bloomington (FS1).
