It appears Indiana will miss out on Jalen Haralson for a second time.
The Notre Dame transfer guard is down to Tennessee, North Carolina and Ohio State according to CBS’ Jon Rothstein.
Haralson attended Fishers H.S. in suburban Indianapolis and picked Notre Dame over IU and others out of high school as part of the class of 2024.
Transfer portal activity is moving at a rapid pace. Haralson is not the first target Indiana has missed on this cycle.
Tennessee forward/center JP Estrella is headed to Michigan.
And Belmont forward Sam Orme is headed to Nebraska.
There were also some early reports of IU involvement with Wisconsin transfer John Blackwell. But he named six schools as finalists, and that list did not include the Hoosiers.
Also, Wake Forest transfer Juke Harris was photographed at Michigan’s national championship parade today. He appears likely to end up a Wolverine.
Indiana is making positive progress with other prospects.
Jaeden Mustaf (Georgia Tech), Darren Harris (Duke) and Markus Burton (Notre Dame) are all on campus this weekend for visits.
There have also been favorable rumors about the Hoosiers potentially landing Alabama forward Aiden Sherrell.
