Nationally Ranked Hoosier Programs (Updated May 20, 2018)

As of May 20, 2018, the following Indiana University Athletics programs were nationally ranked in the Top 25, either currently, at the end, or in the preseason of their respective seasons:

BASEBALL – #19

The Hoosiers slipped out of most polls after losing 9 of 11. They are now back on a 6 game win streak and are likely to start moving back into the rankings heading into the Big Ten Tournament.

MEN’S SOCCER – #2 (end of season)

Indiana made it to the 2017 national championship match and lost a heartbreaker.

MEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING – #3

IU won its 26th Big Ten title and finished 3rd at the 2018 NCAA Championships, just missing its 7th title.

MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD – #25

IU will have a total of 31 Hoosiers that will compete this week in the NCAA East Preliminaries.

WOMEN’S ROWING – #14

The Hoosiers earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships May 25-27.

WOMEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING – #8

The Hoosiers were runner-up to top-10 Michigan at the Big Ten and finished 8th at the 2018 NCAA Championships.

WOMEN’S WATER POLO – #15

The Hoosiers took 4th place at the CWPA championships.
