More planned visits reported for 2025 priority IU basketball target Braylon Mullins

It seems IU basketball fans will have to wait until the fall to find out where coveted in-state guard Braylon Mullins will play in college.

As we reported here a couple weeks ago, Mullins will take an official visit to IU the weekend of Sept. 20, along with his Indiana Elite AAU teammates Trent Sisley and Malachi Moreno.

The class of 2025 IU basketball target has at least five more visits planned as part of a schedule that carries into October.

According to a report by Joe Tipton of On3, Mullins will take unofficial visits in late June to Kentucky, Purdue and Ohio State.

In addition to his IU official, he will also see Michigan and Tennessee for officials in September and October, respectively.

There may be more visits still to determined.  Mullins told Tipton he is also trying to figure out official visits for UConn, Kansas, North Carolina, Michigan State, and Alabama.

One of the hottest names in the rising senior class this spring, Mullins moved up 68 spots in the 247Sports national rankings this week.  He’s currently No. 24 in the class according to that outlet, bordering 5-star status.

On the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring, Mullins averaged 19.6 ppg and added 3 apg, while shooting 51.1% from the field overall, 44% from three.

Mullins was at IU on Saturday for the Mike Woodson team camp.  That was the latest of several visits to the IU campus.  He has not announced a decision timeline or list of final schools, but Mullins is expected to make a decision in the fall.
