National recruiting outlet On3 has updated their rankings for the high school basketball class of 2025 following the July live periods.
Here is where they ranked the eight players we believe Indiana is still in legitimate contention to land. We’ve added a quick note on where things stand with Indiana for each player.
Players are shown in On3’s ranking order.
3 – Nate Ament, 5-star, SF/PF
Ament’s ascent has reached the top five. He has the blue bloodiest of blue bloods recruitments. Indiana has shown heavy interest and is fighting for a seat at the table. Look for a list cut and visit schedule soon.
14 – Bryson Tiller, 4-star, PF
Tiller took an official visit to IU in December, and the Hoosiers have long been considered one of the schools in his top tier of potential landing spots. His recruitment has been quiet, and he hasn’t started scheduling fall visits to this point.
15 – Mikel Brown, 4-star, PG
Indiana has been pushing for two years, and Brown told TDH a month ago he was planning to visit IU. If he follows through with a visit, the Hoosiers could be hard to beat for the Adidas-endorsed guard who On3 says is the No. 2 overall primary ball handler.
21 – Malachi Moreno, 4-star, C
Kentucky is going to be tough to beat for the Bluegrass State native. Indiana is hoping the synergies with his AAU teammates Braylon Mullins and Trent Sisley, who are all visiting Bloomington together Sept. 20, will give them an edge.
25 – Jalen Haralson, 4-star, PG/Wing
Haralson has been a top IU target for three years. He’ll kick off their official visit calendar with a trip to Bloomington on Aug. 31. Right now Indiana appears to have as good of a chance as anyone to land Haralson, who has six Midwest visits scheduled.
33 – Eric Reibe, 4-star, C
Indiana offered early and pushed late in this one. Now they’re hoping Mike Woodson’s recent success with big men can lead to an official visit.
35 – Braylon Mullins, 4-star, SG
The clubhouse leader for 2025 Indiana Mr. Basketball will visit Bloomington Sept. 20. The Hoosiers should have as good of a chance as anyone right now, but the competition is stiff. Mullins just completed a visit to UConn and has several more scheduled.
148 – Trent Sisley, 3-star, SF/PF
As stated above, Sisley is also visiting IU Sept. 20. He’s a third prospect in the class we’d put in the category of Indiana having as good of a chance as anyone. And his field is likely just IU, Purdue, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
