Indiana men’s and women’s basketball took home several Big Ten weekly awards Monday.
IU men’s basketball guard Lamar Wilkerson was named co-Big Ten Player of the Week, sharing the honor with Nebraska’s Pryce Sandfort. Wilkerson enjoyed a historic performance against Penn State on Tuesday, setting a program record with 10 3-pointers and setting a Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall scoring record with 44 points. The fifth-year added four rebounds, four assists, and three steals in Indiana’s 113-72 win over the Nittany Lions. He then followed it up with 15 points in IU’s 72-60 loss at Kentucky.
