IU (14-11, 3-10) is back in action on Thursday at USC.

1. Ciezki leads offense – Shay Ciezki had an amazing game against Purdue in West Lafayette and followed that with another efficient performance in the second game against the Boilermakers. The senior finished with 29 points on 10-for-19 shooting, as well as 12 rebounds and eight assists with two turnovers. IU had a solid offensive afternoon as a team, shooting 49 percent from the field and knocking in 19 of 24 of their free-throw attempts. The Hoosiers started the game on an 11-0 run, which propelled them the rest of the way.
2. Hoosiers control the glass – Indiana hasn’t been able to say they’ve outrebounded a Big Ten opponent very often this season, but they are able to claim that for both games of the Purdue series. IU dominated the Boilermakers on the glass, outrebounding its rivals 47 to 29 on Sunday. Ciezki’s 12 led the Hoosiers, and each of their starters had four or more rebounds. Edessa Noyan added a double-double for IU with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
3. Boilermakers struggle to hit shots – Looking back on the first meeting this season, Purdue’s 11 of 22 made threes proved a big difference in the game. But Indiana limited those opportunities at home, holding the Boilermakers to 7-for-24 shooting from beyond the arc. Purdue struggled offensively overall, finishing at 33.3 percent from the field and shooting only 6 for 10 from the free-throw line. The Boilermakers struggled to battle back from IU’s run in the first half. They went into halftime shooting 27.6 percent without taking a free throw.
