Indiana women’s basketball picked up a commitment from class of 2027 guard Brookeslee Colvin on Tuesday.
The 5-foot-8 Colvin attends Coeur d’Alene High School in Idaho.
According to ESPN, she is a 4-star prospect and the No. 24 overall player in the 2027 class.
Colvin chose IU over several prominent programs including Michigan, California and North Carolina.
As a junior Colvin was named the Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year. She led the Vikings (22-4) to the Inland Empire Conference championship and the semifinals of the 6A state tournament this past season. Colvin averaged 30.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 5.3 steals and 4.7 assists en route to becoming the career scoring leader at Coeur d’Alene with 1,521 points.
Colvin is IU’s second commit in the 2027 class. She joins 4-star wing Finley Parker as part of what is becoming another solid recruiting class for the Hoosiers. Indiana had the No. 8 class nationally in the 2026 ESPN rankings.
