Indiana’s quest to double up on Big Ten titles for the fifth time in seven years begins on Thursday.

Regular season Big Ten Co-Champion and No. 6-ranked Indiana men’s soccer (10-3-5, 7-1-2 B1G) enters the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 2 seed and will open its title defense in the quarterfinal round against No. 7-seeded Michigan (7-3-6, 2-3-5 B1G) Thursday (Nov. 7) at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET. Fans unable to attend can watch the match on the B1G+ digital platform.

The Hoosiers enter the postseason on fire.

Indiana has built a seven-match winning streak and 10-match unbeaten streak (8-0-2) coming into the tournament. IU has scored 32 goals in that stretch – an average of 3.2 goals per game. The Hoosiers have scored multiple goals in each game of the unbeaten run, IU’s longest multi-goal stretch since 1997.

Despite scoring just seven goals in its first eight matches, Indiana has eclipsed its production from a year ago with 39 goals through 18 matches – an average of 2.17 goals per game. IU totaled 35 goals in 24 matches last season (1.46 goal per game).

At the conclusion of regular season play, IU senior forward Tommy Mihalic is the Big Ten’s co-leading scorer, recording a career-high 10 goals. Graduate forward Justin Weiss scored six goals in conference matches to lead the Big Ten.

Indiana is the Big Ten Tournament’s winningest program, both by number of wins (47) and number of titles (16). The Hoosiers have a 47-11-13 (.754) record in the conference tournament.
