Indiana football’s massive day in the transfer portal just got a turbo boost.
The Hoosiers landed a commitment from Boston College running back Turbo Richard on Sunday, per reports.
The 5-foot-8 and 207-pound Richard tied for 11th in the ACC with 749 rushing yards on 145 carries with nine touchdowns, all of which led the way for Boston College. He also added 213 receiving yards on 30 receptions with two touchdowns this season.
As a true freshman in 2024, the Charlotte, N.C. product played in eight games and rushed for 278 yards on 55 carries with two touchdowns.
Richard has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
At Hickory H.S. he was an all-state track athlete, winning the 100-meter upper state championship.
The Charlotte, N.C. native figures to join a three-man backfield group with Lee Beebe Jr. and Khobie Martin, though that outlook could change as portal season progresses.
