Indiana may not have All-American cornerback D’Angelo Ponds when the Hoosiers face Iowa this afternoon.
The junior is listed as questionable on the Big Ten availability report issued two hours before kickoff. Freshman safety Byron Baldwin continues to be out.
Indiana’s lockdown corner on the boundary, Ponds has 11 tackles, three tackles for loss, an interception, a pass breakup, and a blocked punt he returned for a touchdown on the season. If he’s unable to play, look for reserves Ryland Gandy and Amariyun Knighten to see more snaps.
Iowa’s injury includes leading rusher Jaziun Patterson, who is out for Saturday’s contest.
