South Alabama transfer forward Adam Olsen is a name to know this transfer portal cycle.
The 6-foot-8 and 225-pound Olsen earned Second Team All-Sun Belt honors after starting all 32 games and averaging 15.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for the Jaguars in 2025-26. He shot 39.1 percent from three-point range and knocked down a program-record 102 three-pointers, the most in a single season in school history.
Olsen should have one year of eligibility remaining. He is from Surrey, British Columbia in Canada, and he played his first two seasons of college basketball at University of British Columbia.
In 2024-25 at BC he contributed 14.7 points per game and added 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He shot 41.5% from the field overall, including 32.5% from three on 225 attempts.
In 2023-24 for BC he made 25 appearances and with three starts. He totaled 255 points, 80 rebounds, and 47 three-pointers. He put up double figures in 13 contests while shooting 41.9 percent from the floor and 37.9 percent from long range.
Olsen also played for the Vancouver Bandits in the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
