Cornell transfer guard Jake Fiegen is a name to know in the transfer portal for IU basketball.
As a junior at Cornell, the 6-foot-4 and 205-pound Fiegen averaged 17.1 points per game while shooting 54.6% overall including 41.4% from three on 133 attempts. Fiegen shot at 76.3% at the stripe. He added 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest.
According to a report by Joe Tipton of Rivals, Fiegen is also hearing from Ohio State, Northwestern, Villanova, Vanderbilt, and DePaul, among others. The transfer portal does not formally open until April 7.
Fiegen had a breakout sophomore season in 2024-25, averaging 10.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.9 steals per game in 29 appearances (28 starts). He shot 50.9% from the floor overall, 38.3% from 3-point range and 77.8% from the free-throw line in 25.8 minutes per game
As a freshman, Fiegen averaged 3.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 29 contests off the bench.
Fiegen is from Wilmette, Ill. where he attended New Trier H.S. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
