As Indiana shows interest in transfer portal prospects we’ll provide a quick profile with our transfer portal names to know series.

Of course we’ll cover prospects more if things progress beyond initial interest.

Next up is Bellarmine forward Langdon Hatton.

The 6-foot-10 and 240-pound Hatton started all 31 games for Bellarmine in 2023-24.  He averaged 10.5 points and 7.1 rebounds in 27.8 minutes per contest.  Hatton shot 48 percent from the field, including 33.3 percent (15-of-45) from three.  He added 24 blocks on the season.

From Georgetown, Ind., Hatton’s career shooting splits are 49.1 percent overall, 32.7 from three (on 55 attempts), and 62.7 percent from the free throw line.

In his first season at Bellarmine (2022-23), Hatton appeared in all 33 games with six starts while logging nearly 13 minutes per game.  He averaged 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds while ranking second on team in total blocks (10) and shooting 58.0 percent from the field.

Hatton started his college career at William & Mary.  He appeared in 30 games with six starts there as a freshman.  He averaged 4.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in 14.8 minutes of action and shot 45.4% from the field (49-of-108).

From North Harrison H.S., Hatton was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2021 according to 247Sports, and the No. 44 center.

According to 247Sports’ Travis Branham, Cincinnati, Xavier, Saint Louis, Notre Dame, Western Kentucky, Northern Illinois, FGCU, Chattanooga, Illinois State, Drake, Clemson, Minnesota, Louisville and Ohio State are some of the other schools involved.

He should have one year of eligibility remaining.
