Class of 2028 wing Keaton Murry is a name to know for IU basketball.
The IU staff offered Murry a scholarship last month after an impressive spring.
A product of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the 6-foot-4 Murry attends Putnam City North H.S., a team that reached the 6A state semifinals in 2025-26. He averaged 10.8 points per game as a sophomore and was named honorable mention All-State.
In the average of the national rankings, Murry is a 4-star, the No. 58 overall player in the 2028 class, and the No. 18 shooting guard. He’s ranked the No. 1 player in Oklahoma in the rising junior class. Murry was invited to the Nike Elite 100 camp.
For travel basketball Murry plays for MOKAN Elite on the Nike EYBL Circuit. That’s a program IU assistant Rod Clark has strong ties with. The spring Murry averaged 12.9 points per game while adding 3.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals. His shooting splits on the EYBL are 47.1% overall including 36.8% from three. He has made 74.2% at the free throw line.
In addition to Indiana, so far Murry has offers from Missouri, TCU, St. Louis, and Oral Roberts.
