Indiana offered one of the fastest-rising players in the 2027 class this week.
Ahmed Nur announced an offer from the Hoosiers among several other recent offers from high-major programs.
A product of Minnesota, Nur played for Hopkins H.S. in Hopkins, Minn. his first three years. He has transferred to national prep program Bella Vista for his senior year.
In the average of the national rankings, the 6-foot-9 Nur is a 4-star, the No. 44 overall player in the 2027 class, and the No. 7 power forward. Although listed by some outlets as a power forward, Nur is a versatile three-level scoring wing with great positional length.
Nur was the MVP of the recent NBPA top-100 camp. There he averaged 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds on 64 percent from the field and 58 percent from three.
For travel basketball Nur plays for Power 5 on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit. He is averaging 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals while making 2.3 threes per game.
In addition to IU, Nur has high-major offers from Minnesota, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arizona State, West Virginia, Mississippi State, Washington, Penn State, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Providence, Georgia Tech, SMU, Xavier, Purdue, Kansas, Texas and Rutgers.
