Indiana has offered one of the top center prospects in the class of 2028.
7-foot-3 Dylan Betts announced he was offered by the IU staff this week.
From Colorado, Betts is the younger brother of UCLA sisters Lauren and Sienna Betts. Their father is 7-foot-1 Andy Betts, who played for Long Beach State, was a second-round draft pick by the Hornets in 1998, and had a lengthy career in international leagues.
Betts attended IMG Academy in 2025-26 after playing his high school freshman season in Colorado.
In the average of the national rankings, the rising junior is a 4-star, the No. 14 overall player in the 2028 class, and the No. 5 center. 247Sports lists Betts as a 5-star.
For travel basketball Betts plays for the Legynds program. He played in eight games this spring and is averaging 11.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks while shooting 54.7% from the field on the circuit. Three-point shooting is not a major part of his game to this point.
In addition to IU, Betts has offers from Purdue, Illinois, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Florida State, UCLA, USC, and Washington.
