Indiana continues to look for future solutions at the shooting guard and wing positions in the class of 2021.
Andrew Slater of 247Sports reported that Indiana reached out to Cushing Academy wing Alexis Reyes this week.
The contact by IU was just the latest in a long standing relationship and evaluation by the staff.

IU assistant coach Mike Roberts spoke with Reyes this week.
Roberts also watched Reyes play at an open gym this past fall at Cushing Academy, and Reyes took an unofficial visit to Bloomington in the fall of 2018.
Hailing from Foxbury, Massachusetts, the 6-foot-7 Reyes has a reputation as a shooter.
Reyes averaged 12.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2 steals per contest according to his high school program.
Overall Reyes shot 53 percent from the field including 39 percent from three-point range.
Reyes was named NEPSAC AA Honorable Mention for the 2019-20 season. (Note AA is a level above the A level that IU signee Jordan Geronimo played in last year.) The Penguins were one of the best teams in Class AA all season long before suffering a semi-final loss in the NEPSAC tournament.
For AAU basketball Reyes plays for the Expressions Elite Nike EYBL program and he is also a member of the Dominican National team.
So far Creighton, DePaul, UMass, St. John’s, Illinois, Georgetown, and Rhode Island have offered Reyes a scholarship.
Reyes’ junior season highlights with Cushing are below.
