Indiana is getting a visit from national top-20 class of 2027 guard Davion Thompson later this month. He’ll be on campus Aug. 28 according to national 247Sports analyst Dushawn London.
The 6-foot-2 Thompson is a 4-star, and the No. 18 overall player in the 2027 class according to the average of the national recruiting sites.
A product of Bolingbrook, Ill., Thompson attends national prep program Link Academy.
Thompson was first offered by the prior staff, and Darian DeVries and his crew have continued the pursuit.
In addition to IU, Thompson has offers from Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee, Oregon, Wake Forest and others.
The 6-foot-2 Thompson was the sixth leading scorer on the 16u Nike EYBL Circuit this summer, averaging 18.8 points per game. He played for the Illinois-based MeanStreets program.
