If Indiana is going to keep Fort Wayne, Ind. wideout Jerquaden Guilford in the state, they’re going to have beat out three of college football’s other national power schools.
Guilford is down to a final four of Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, and Ole Miss, he announced on Friday.
The 6-foot-2 and 190-pound Guilford is going to announce his final decision on June 27.
Guilford is a former Penn State commit who runs a 4.47 40-yard dash.
The Fort Wayne Northrop H.S. product was also offered by Tennessee, Georgia, Miami, Wisconsin and others. Over the last two seasons Guilford has had 61 receptions for 930 yards and seven touchdowns. The big play receiver had averaged over 15 yards per catch.
Guilford has a 4-star rating at Rivals, and his national average across the recruiting sites places him as the No. 67 overall wide receiver, the No. 427 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 1 player in Indiana.
If he commits to IU the Hoosiers would have the top-two players in the state in the class of 2026 based on the rankings. Guilford is just a couple spots ahead of national No. 429 Kasmir Hicks, who committed to IU earlier in the spring.
Landing Guilford could enhance an already strong rising senior high school class for Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers. Indiana’s 2026 class is currently ranked No. 23 nationally by 247Sports, and No. 31 by On3.
