Indiana has once again turned in state to the loaded class of 2021.

Rising South Bend shooting guard Blake Wesley announced an Indiana offer via his Twitter account.

Blessed to receive a D1 offer from Indiana University. Thanks to coach Miller and the rest of the coaching staff. 🔴⚪️ pic.twitter.com/25DrPHAHf4

    — Blake Wesley (@blakewesley0) July 29, 2019

A four-star recruit, Wesley is ranked the No. 102 player overall in the 2021 class by the 247Sports Composite and the No. 4 player in the state of Indiana.

IU head coach Archie Miller got a chance to see Wesley play earlier in the summer at the Indiana team camp in Bloomington.

Playing for the G3 Grind on the Under Armour AAU circuit, Wesley was efficient this spring in U16 play.  He averaged 11.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 22.3 minutes per contest according to the Under Armour site.  He shot 57% overall and 45% from behind the arc.

Wesley attends South Bend Riley, the same high school that produced current Hoosier Damezi Anderson.

Anderson’s younger brother Davyion is teammates with Wesley at Riley.

The 6-foot-5 Wesley averaged 12.3 points, 3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.1 assists in 19.9 minutes per game for the 2018-19 season at Riley.  He shot 45% from the field overall and 34% from behind the three-point line.  Wesley also shot 72% from the foul line.

Wesley’s father Derrick was a first team All-MAC player at Ball State and is a member of the school’s hall of fame.  He played for the Cardinals from 1984-1988.

Wesley also has offers from Butler, Notre Dame, Ball State, DePaul and others.
