The 2026-27 NBA destinations for two former Hoosiers were confirmed on Monday.
The Raptors are exercising their team option on Trayce Jackson-Davis‘ contract for the 2026-27 season, according to multiple reports. The move ensures that Jackson-Davis’ $2.41 million salary will be fully guaranteed.
A 2023 second-round pick by Golden State, Jackson-Davis was traded from the Warriors to the Raptors at this year’s in-season deadline in exchange for a 2026 second-round draft pick.
In two-and-a-half years with the Warriors, Jackson-Davis averaged 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 15.1 minutes per game across 166 total outings (54 starts). He didn’t play much for Toronto after the trade, logging just 85 total minutes in 17 appearances.
Meanwhile Thomas Bryant will return to Cleveland for his tenth NBA season.
Now 28, Bryant, appeared in 60 games last season for the Cavs, including one start. He averaged 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per night. He also made nine postseason appearances.
Bryant’s career has also included two stints with the Lakers along with stops in Washington, Denver, Miami and Indiana. Overall, the veteran big man has seen action in 393 regular season contests.
Jackson-Davis and Bryant were two of just five former Hoosiers to see playing time in the NBA this past season. They were joined by Kel’el Ware, Eric Gordon and NBA champion OG Anunoby.
Ware was recently traded from Miami to Milwaukee. Gordon is currently a free agent.
