In addition to being opening day for most college football teams, today is Lee Corso’s final day at ESPN’s College Football Gameday. The 90-year-old Corso is retiring after today’s edition of the iconic national pregame show. Corso coached at Indiana for 10 seasons, from 1973-82.  He led the program to its first-ever bowl win in 1979. Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber continues to produce staggering numbers in 2025. On Thursday evening in Philadelphia, the former IU baseball star became just the 21st player in Major League Baseball history to hit four home runs in a game.  He produced the feat in his first five at-bats as part of a 19-4 win over the Atlanta Braves.  Schwarber also produced a Phillies record with nine runs batted in. YouTube TV has reached a short-term deal with FOX, meaning IU football fans who utilize the streaming service will be able to watch the Hoosiers face Old Dominion on Saturday. YouTube TV and FOX agreed to a short-term deal before their Wednesday deadline of 5 p.m. ET to keep FOX, as well as other networks such as Big Ten Network, and FS1 on the platform.
