Indiana basketball 2018 recruiting target Romeo Langford had two games over the weekend, both New Albany wins.  On Friday night the Bulldogs held off Princeton (Ohio) 65-64 in front of a national television audience.  Langford scored 36 points on the night. On Saturday New Albany rolled against Evansville Reitz, 75-50.  Langford scored 30 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.  New Albany (13-1), who is ranked  No. 3 in Class 4A, won their 10th straight game. It seemed like the only positive thing that Gus Johnson and Jimmy Jackson could come up with for Indiana on this night was that they kept fighting.  And that is no small thing.  We’ve seen Indiana teams quit in these circumstances.  Ultimately, no amount of fight was going to overcome this talent gap — a talent gap that widened dramatically when junior forward Juwan Morgan left in the first half with an injury.  This one was never really in doubt.  Michigan State wins it easily, 85-57. Robert Johnson has been a key contributor to the Indiana basketball program since the day he stepped on campus back in 2014.  The senior guard has been a starter for 105 of the 116 games he has been healthy enough to play in since joining the team for the 2014-15 season.  That kind of involvement from day one is just the kind of resume that can result in multiple appearances on the all-time statistical lists.
