Redshirt sophomore Michael Penix, Jr. is coming off an impressive 2019 campaign that saw him set the program single-season record for completion percentage (68.8) while throwing for 1,394 yards and 10 touchdowns to four interceptions. The strong-armed lefthander missed seven games due to injury, and he was shut down in early November after surgery on his right sternoclavicular joint. McCulley has been highly productive both through the air and on the ground. The 6-foot-5 McCulley is 80 of 113 passing (70.8 percent) for 1,490 yards and 12 touchdowns against just 2 interceptions.
