On the recruiting front, IU basketball has now largely turned its attention to the class of 2022. The Hoosiers addressed a need with the addition of shooting specialist graduate transfer guard Parker Stewart last week. And there will be much more noise in the transfer portal in the coming months as the NCAA moved to waive the requirement that transfers sit out a season. But when it comes to the high school ranks, it is on to 2022. Priorities going forward seem to be at point guard, adding some length and versatility at the forward positions, and more shooters are…

The Australian Outback is the vast, remote, largely uninhabited interior of the country. It is the kind of place where one might go to drop off a body. And that is exactly what the power structure within college football and the Big Ten is looking to do by sending Indiana to the Outback Bowl. Indiana is that pest getting in the way of the corrupt folks that pull the strings, and you know what happens to the little guys that create problems? They get taken to the Outback to die. Indiana’s bowl game “reward” sets up perfectly for the folks…

When the Big Ten changed its rules to put Ohio State in the league’s title game, IU coaches and administrators took the high road. On Sunday night when pressed on being left out of the New Year’s Six bowl games, head coach Tom Allen did his best to take the high road. Later on Sunday night, former athletic director Fred Glass needed to get it off his chest. And he did not take the high road. “I’m not AD anymore, nor officially affiliated with…
