IU head coach Tom Allen joined Don Fischer on Wednesday night on their Inside IU Football radio show. The pair discussed the 2021 recruiting class that was signed today as well as the current players who received All-Big Ten honors this week. Assistant coaches Nick Sheridan and Brandon Shelby joined Fischer in the latter two segments. Indiana (6-1) now awaits their postseason fate. Defense was Indiana’s calling card in 2020, and the Hoosiers have been richly rewarded on that side of the ball. The so-called “Swarm-D” swarmed the All-Big Ten first team with a school record four players. In total, seven Hoosier defenders received All-Big Ten recognition, also a school record. One of the greatest of all-time speaks. IU football legend Antwaan Randle El joined IU basketball great A.J. Guyton on the House of Hoosier podcast. One of the most dynamic offensive performers in Big Ten history, Randle El came to IU from Riverdale, Illinois and won football letters in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. Indiana has picked up a commitment from graduate transfer guard Parker Stewart.
