Indiana released its 2021 football media guide and record book on Friday, and in it was the first depth chart for the 2021 campaign. While there weren’t many surprises in the first edition of the depth chart, it definitely comes with a couple caveats. Indiana tight end Peyton Hendershot is the latest Hoosier to be recognized on a preseason watch list. The North Salem, Ind. product was named to the John Mackey Award preseason list.  The John Mackey Award is given annually to college football’s most outstanding tight end. Hendershot ranks second on IU’s tight ends career list with 10 touchdowns, and he sits third with 90 receptions and 936 yards. The full release from IU Athletics on Hendershot follows. Class of 2022 Georgia based forward Kaleb Banks announced his commitment to Indiana on Friday afternoon. Banks made the announcement on his Twitter page. Indiana is still entering new recruitments in the class of 2022 as players separate themselves during the July live period. The latest target for IU is top-60 4-star forward Malik Reneau. The Big Ten Network released a video of 50 of Indiana’s top dunks and 2-pointers from the 2020-21 season. Trayce Jackson-Davis made 183 of IU’s 496 2-pointers on the season.  He made 51.7 of his field goal attempts, all 2-pointers.  As a team the Hoosiers made 48.5 percent of their 2-point attempts on the 2020-21 season. Trey Galloway led IU from 2-point range, making 56.9 percent of his attempts.  Jordan Geronimo was second at 55.6 percent and Race Thompson was third at 54.5 percent. Indiana ranked No. 225 nationally in 2-point field goal percentage and ninth in the Big Ten.…
