Indiana needed a bounce back performance and they got it in a big way. For the first time in what seems like a long time, the Hoosiers put away a ranked opponent convincingly with a 67-51 win over No. 13 Ohio State on Thursday night. Indiana defeated No. 13 Ohio State by a final score of  67-51 on Thursday evening at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. Former Missouri quarterback Connor Bazelak is transferring to Indiana he announced on Thursday. A Dayton, Ohio product, this year the 6-foot-3 and 212 pound Bazelak threw for 2,540 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 11 games with the Tigers. In 2020 he was the SEC’s co-freshman of the year. In two-plus seasons at Missouri, Bazelak threw for 5,058 yards with 25 total touchdowns (two rushing) and 17 interceptions.  Overall he completed 66 percent of his passes. Ali Patberg led the way with 18 points as No. 6 Indiana improved to 4-0 in the Big Ten and 12-2 overall with a 76-53 win at Wisconsin on Wednesday night. A few weeks ago IU football head coach Tom Allen said he intended to find a transfer quarterback to add to the competition for the starting job for the 2022 season. Since then Indiana fans have been anxiously awaiting who the program would identify and bring in for a visit. Kevin Brockway of CNHI Sports Indiana is reporting on Twitter that two former high-profile recruits with Power Five experience will be on campus this week. Indiana has dipped back into Georgia for its latest high school offer. On Tuesday, class of 2025 forward Bryson Tiller announced on his Twitter page he had been offered by the Hoosiers. https://twitter.com/brysontiller_11/status/1478384301104369669?s=20 While there are no rankings yet for the class of 2025, Tiller appears to be on pace to be one of the best in the current group of high school freshmen.
