The Giving Blitz is a nationwide 24-hour fundraising campaign to promote the project’s mission, share its impact on the community, and raise funds for the 2022-23 football and basketball seasons. Indiana’s all-time assist leader is going to give it another go in Slovenia. Point guard Yogi Ferrell has re-signed with Cedevita Olimpija, a top Slovenian team he joined midseason in 2021. The 29-year-old Ferrell averaged 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists, over 15 EuroCup games last season. Ferrell arrived in Cedevita after a brief stint with Panathinaikos OPAP Athens where he started the 2021-22 season. Last season was his first experience playing overseas. Geronimo played in 34 games off the bench in 2021-22, missing just the Big Ten Tournament semifinal contest against Iowa after suffering an injury the day before.
