According to a program spokesperson, Indiana quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. had post-game x-rays following the Hoosiers’ 38-24 loss to Cincinnati. The fourth year quarterback from Tampa, Fla. was not available to meet with the media after the game, and no further details were provided. Head coach Tom Allen is expected to provide an update on Penix’s status on Monday. Penix played the entire game against Cincinnati, but he was seen holding his throwing arm at one point in the third quarter. Indiana had just held Cincinnati to a sixth straight first half drive of five plays or less.
