Indiana has dipped into the overseas market for its latest class of 2023 recruiting target. On Thursday the Hoosiers extended a scholarship offer to Finland’s Miro Little. The 6-foot-4 Little reported the offer on his Twitter page. https://twitter.com/MiroLittle23/status/1433652925902073876?s=20 Indiana was the first high major offer for the 17 year-old Helsinki product. According to a report by national 247 analyst Travis Branham, Little is also hearing from Gonzaga, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Villanova, USC, Colorado, Providence, Clemson, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, Miami and Wake Forest.  He told Branham Villanova, Indiana and Providence have been the most active in his recruitment to this…

Sophomore All-American forward Trayce Jackson-Davis, the leading returning scorer in the Big Ten, has been named first-team 2021-22 Preseason All-American by Athlon Sports according to a release from IU Athletics. Jackson-Davis started all 27 games last season and was the only high major player to average at least 19 points and 9 rebounds during the 2021-22 campaign. He was fourth in the Big Ten in scoring (19.1), second in rebounding (9.0), fifth in field goal percentage (51.7) and blocked shots (1.4) and is third in minutes played (34.2). With the 2022 class rounding into its final form, the Indiana staff is largely pivoting to 2023 and beyond. Visits by several members of the junior and sophomore classes have emerged in recent days.  Here is a quick recap. After long days of recruiting the Tampa area, then South Florida defensive coordinator Tom Allen found comfort where a lot of football coaches do — up in the press box. Allen didn’t go to the top of the stands at Plant High School in Tampa to coach.  And while recruiting was always a possibility at the talent-rich South Tampa school, that really wasn’t his primary objective either.  That press box at Plant was really just a chance for Allen to be a dad, as he watched his son Thomas play linebacker for one of the top programs in the state.…
