The Indiana staff continues to walk the necessary and delicate tightrope that is roster management in the transfer portal era. Despite possibly having no scholarship openings for their 2022-23 team, the Hoosiers have one transfer guard currently on campus in Wichita State transfer Dexter Dennis, and another is headed to Bloomington this weekend. Indiana picked up a commitment from 5-star class of 2022 forward Malik Reneau on Monday. “Lock in.  110% committed,” Reneau wrote in a Twitter post. The 6-foot-8 and 215-pound Reneau is a 5-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.  He is the No. 28 player in nation in the 2022 class, and the No. 4 power forward.  A former Florida signee, Reneau took an official visit to Bloomington over the weekend.  He decommitted from the Gators after head coach Mike White resigned. Mike Woodson isn’t hesitating to compete for the best of the best. That became more evident when Indiana offered class of 2025 forward Koa Peat following his dominant performance during the first recruiting live period. The 6-foot-8 Peat plays up two years at the 17U level on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, and he played up three years last year.  He is teammates with fellow IU target Andrej Stojakovic on the Compton Magic. When it comes to the offensive line, Indiana’s depth is a bit on the thin side.  The Hoosiers made a move to address that need on Friday when West Texas A&M transfer offensive tackle Parker Hanna announced he will play for IU next fall. “The marathon continues,” Hanna wrote on his Twitter page.  “One last ride with Indiana.” The Stratford, Texas product has been a four-year starter at the Division II school. Indiana class of 2022 signee Jalen Hood-Schifino will become the 12th future Hoosier to be involved in the Jordan Brand Classic, which will play its first game since before the pandemic in 2019.
