IU football picked up its second 2023 offensive lineman commit on Friday when 3-star Austin Barrett announced his pledge to the Hoosiers. “Thank you (head) Coach (Tom) Allen and (offensive line) Coach (Darren) Hiller for the opportunity and I can’t wait to play for you!” Barrett wrote in a message published on social media. “GO HOOSIERS!!!!” Hailing from St. Charles, Ill., Barrett is ranked the No. 70 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 837 recruit nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Class of 2023 top-50 forward/center Arrinten Page wrapped-up his official visit to Indiana on Friday and returned to Georgia. The 6-foot-9 Page arrived on Wednesday evening with his family, with the main part of his visit taking place on Thursday. Led by assistant coach Yasir Rosemond, Indiana was one of the first high-majors to seriously get involved with the Marietta, Ga. Indiana found another talented prospect on a stacked 16u Indy Heat team. Earlier this week the Hoosiers offered class of 2024 forward Jesse McCulloch.  He reported the offer on his social media accounts. The 6-foot-9 McCulloch attends Lutheran East H.S. in Cleveland, Ohio, where he averaged 16.7 points per game as a sophomore to go with 10.3 rebounds and 3.1 blocks. Indiana has entered the mix for fast-rising in-state class of 2024 big man Flory Bidunga. The Hoosiers offered the 6-foot-9 and 215-pound center on Wednesday afternoon according to his AAU program. While we say “in-state” it is likely best to not think of Bidunga that way.  While he attends Kokomo H.S. (Kokomo, Ind.), he has only been in the United State since 2021.  The Democratic Republic of the Congo product attends the northern Indiana school as part of an international program.  He averaged 17.5 points, 13.3 rebounds and 5.3 blocks while leading Kokomo to the Class 4A semi-state. One of Indiana’s top recruiting targets concluded his official visit to Bloomington on Wednesday. Class of 2023 4-star wing Jamie Kaiser has been one of the biggest risers during the spring and summer playing for the New World AAU program on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.
