Indianapolis’ northeast side Division One basketball factory has placed another prospect on the IU radar. Class of 2025 guard Azavier Robinson will take an unofficial visit to IU on Tuesday when the Hoosiers take on Elon according to a national report by Rivals.  Robinson was a teammate last year of IU freshman guard C.J. Gunn at Lawrence North H.S., and he is now emerging as a young leader of that program. Another quarterback has emerged as a potential candidate to step into IU’s wide-open 2023 starting job. According to a report by 247Sports national reporter Chris Hummer, former Arizona State and Florida quarterback Emory Jones took a visit to Bloomington last week.  Jones also took a visit to Cincinnati over the weekend based on one his social media posts. A long layoff appeared to serve Indiana well. Playing for the first time since a Dec. 8 road win over Penn State, the No. 3/4 IU women made life miserable for Morehead State on Sunday afternoon in Bloomington. The Hoosiers (11-0) took the first quarter 28-4 including a 22-1 run to close the opening stanza — and never let their foot off the gas. Indiana lost for the third time in four games after an 84-62 dismantling at the hands of Kansas at the Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kan. LAWRENCE, Kan. — Indiana lost to Kansas on Saturday by a final score of 84-62 at the Allen Fieldhouse. The Hoosiers were led in the game by Trayce Jackson-Davis with 13 points.  Race Thompson and Jalen Hood-Schifino had 11 apiece.  Kansas led 44-29 at halftime. When Indiana and Kansas meet on Saturday in Lawrence, it will mark the 15th game in the series between the college basketball powers.
