Jerome Hunter’s final season of college basketball is starting much like his first. The Xavier forward is out indefinitely with an undisclosed medical issue, the school announced Tuesday. Hunter joined IU basketball with the class of 2018 and spent his first three years in Bloomington. He ended up taking a redshirt season as a freshman when an undisclosed medical issue ended his 2018-19 season just before it started. Hunter dealt with a lower leg condition at IU. Indiana made the first list cut of fast rising 2024 big man Patrick Ngongba. The 4-star, 6-foot-10 center is down to IU, Kansas State, UConn, Providence, Kansas, Duke, Kentucky and Michigan, he announced.
