Indiana picked up a commitment from Wake Forest transfer wide receiver Ke’Shawn Williams on Monday. The 5-foot-10 and 190-pound Williams has 107 career catches for 1,385 yards and five touchdowns over four seasons. He’s had at least 27 receptions and 384 yards in each of the last three seasons. He also handled kickoff return duties and had 33 returns for 654 yards over the last three seasons. After visiting Indiana with his mother over the weekend, class of 2026 Michigan based point guard Jonathan Sanderson was offered by the IU staff. Sanderson announced the offer on his Instagram page. Now a sophomore, the 6-foot-2 Sanderson started as a freshman at Saline H.S. (Saline, Mich.) and had a massive first-year campaign. He was named second team AP all-state after averaging 19.3 points, six rebounds, four assists and 1.5 steals per contest. Curt Cignetti and the IU football staff made another addition to their 2024 recruiting class on Sunday. Defensive back Dontrae Henderson announced he has committed to Indiana. He was previously committed to Cignetti at James Madison. The 6-foot and 170 pound Henderson hails from Charlotte, N.C. (Chambers H.S.). He played both cornerback and safety in high school. Trent Howland had a change of heart. After announcing a transfer to Minnesota last week, Howland has reversed course and will remain with Indiana he posted to his social media accounts on Sunday. With 354 yards on 75 carries, Howland was Indiana’s leading rusher in 2023. He took over as IU’s primary back over the last three weeks and gained 186 yards.
