    ESSENTIALS

    Hometown – Hopkins, Minnesota (Hopkins)
    Position – Forward
    Height – 6-foot-10
    Weight – 215
    247 Sports Composite Rating – 4-star (top 50)
Primary Competition – Kansas, UCLA, Arizona, Iowa, Baylor, Minnesota and Wisconsin

Timeline — IU unofficial visit August 26.  Visits in the late summer / early fall, decision in October / November.

Indiana Connections — Nnaji plays for the D1 Minnesota AAU program that includes Matthew Hurt.  IU assistant coach Tom Ostrom is from Minnesota, has close ties in that state, led the recruitment of Hoosier Race Thompson, and is also leading the Nnaji recruitment.

    QUOTABLE

“They would really like to use my talents,” Nnaji said of Indiana’s recruiting pitch. “They think that I could be a stretch four, like a three or a four. They’d like me to put the ball down on the floor more and play off the wing, too. But also don’t go away from the post — use both.”

    – USA Today, August 2018

    RECENT INTERVIEW

There aren’t a lot of good Nnaji interviews out there, but he does appear in this one midway through discussing his Minnesota AAU program.

Escaping the office for a few days, so throwing this promo up now. I'll feature the loaded @D1Minnesota program Sunday night on @KSTP at 10:45 p.m. They have six players with #Gophers offers, others with high or mid-major ones. Best part is it's an unselfish bunch. pic.twitter.com/L3EYdxM6uz
