2019 Recruit Profile Page: Trendon Watford

Hometown – Birmingham, Alabama (Mountain Brook)
Position – Forward
Height – 6-foot-9
Weight – 225
247 Sports Composite Rating – 5-star

Timeline — Watford has publicized a top eight list, and has later indicated that he is open to new suitors.  He has hinted that his recruitment may carry into the spring.

Indiana Connections — The IU connections run deep and they are all about family.  Trendon’s brother Christian was a star for the Hoosiers, perhaps best known for his game-winning shot in 2011 against Kentucky.  Trendon was there for that moment and many others in Bloomington.  Indiana had two in-home visits in the spring.

“It is a great school and I am familiar with them since my brother (Christian Watford) played there. I have built a good relationship with coach Archie (Miller) and the rest of their guys.”

Rivals, July 2018.
