Watch as IU football running backs coach Craig Johnson met with the media this week to discuss his position group.
Johnson joined the program during the offseason, replacing Deland McCullough. Johnson spent 20 years in the NFL as a position coach from 2000 to 2019, guiding stars such as Saquon Barkley, Chris Johnson and Steve McNair.
Johnson covers a number of topics including his coaching style, thoughts on freshman Jaylin Lucas and senior Shaun Shivers, his vision on specialization and playing time, and much more.
Indiana opens the 2022 season on Sept. 2 under the Friday night lights in Bloomington against Illinois.
