Ponds was a Freshman All-American at James Madison under Cignetti in 2023, and an All-American in 2024 and 2025.
Over his three college seasons, Ponds has played in 38 games and amassed 155 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six interceptions, 30 pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries.
