Below is a 25-minute long look at Fernando Mendoza’s 2025 season, from the season-opener against Old Dominion to the Big Ten Championship win over Ohio State.
On the season Mendoza completed 71.5% of his throws for 2,980 yards and 33 touchdowns. He added 240 yards on the ground and six more scores. On Saturday evening in New York he became the first Indiana player to win the Heisman.
In the College Football Playoff quarterfinal round, Indiana (13-0) will face either Alabama or Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1 at Pasadena, Calif.
