On Saturday Indiana will try to win its first game at Penn State.
But until 12 years ago, the Hoosiers had never beat the Nittany Lions anywhere.
On Oct. 5, 2013, an 0-16 series start against PSU met IU’s potent offensive attack, led by head coach Kevin Wilson. Three future pros led the way for the Hoosiers.
IU quarterback Nate Sudfeld threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Tevin Coleman finished the game with 92 yards on 20 carries, and he hauled in seven passes for 55 yards. Cody Latimer set career-highs with nine catches for 140 yards.
The Hoosiers outscored Penn State 31-17 in the second half to complete a 44-24 victory in their Big Ten opener.
