The Romeo Langford Decision: How to Watch Live and Online

It is finally here.  After years of speculation, multiple perceived favorites and a long list that was ultimately narrowed down to three, tonight we will all learn which college Romeo Langford will attend.  Surely you all know by now that the final decision comes down to Indiana, Kansas and Vanderbilt.

Langford, a 5-star shooting guard from New Albany, Indiana, is the highest rated player that remains uncommitted at this time.  He won the state of Indiana’s Mr. Basketball award last night, and with that, he has no additional all-star games or awards ceremonies standing in the way of the decision.

    The time is now.

    WATCH IN PERSON

The announcement is scheduled for 7 PM (Eastern Time) in the New Albany High School gymnasium and is open to the public.  The doors will open at 6 PM.  There are no tickets.  It is general admission, first-come, first-serve.

The address is 1020 Vincennes St, New Albany, IN 47150.

Reports have indicated that you will not be allowed to line-up outside of the school until school is let out and the students have left for the day.  According to the New Albany High School website, the final bell rings at 2:26.

One thing that will be interesting is how many students will go directly to the gym after school and camp out?  With more than 2,000 students attending the school, and the gym holding just over 4,000, it could be nearly half full before the general public is allowed in.  It would be appropriate for any of his fellow schoolmates that want to watch live to have the first opportunity to do so.

    WATCH/LISTEN ON-LINE

This could be interesting.  Several outlets have reported that you can watch the announcement via a live-stream on WDRB’s website.  With so much attention focused on this announcement, will the WDRB site become overloaded?

We’ll give you a few additional options just in case you go that route and it gets bogged down.  These should all be FREE options.  There is no reason to sign-up for any subscriptions that you will regret later.

    • Big X Sports Radio (Audio only)
    • Facebook – Romeo Langford Real Info — likely run by a friend or family member of Langford.
    • Wave 3 Louisville (TV) and Wave3.com
    • WNAS 88.1 FM (New Albany radio)
    • There will also almost certainly be several independent live streams on Twitter tonight on the #iubb hashtag.

We’ll keep an eye out for other options throughout the day.  If you know of others that you would like to share, please feel free to add them in the comments below.

While you wait, take a look back at Langford’s senior season at New Albany:
