Class of 2026 center Arafan Diane will announce his college decision on Nov. 19. That is the final day of the early signing period.
The 7-foot big man will choose from a group of finalists that includes Indiana, Houston, Virginia, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
Houston has been a popular pick by the national pundits to land Diane, but Indiana is still thought to be a legitimate contender going into the final weeks.
Diane is the No. 1 ranked center and the No. 19 overall player in the 2026 class according to the average of the national outlets. At well over 250 pounds, he is one of, if not the most physically imposing players in the senior class.
Playing for Iowa United on the Adidas circuit this spring and summer, Diane averaged 18.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while shooting 74.4% from the field including 58.3% (7 of 12) from three. He led the circuit in rebounds.
Indiana currently has one commit in the 2026 class — 3-star guard Prince-Alexander Moody. They’re awaiting the decision of 4-star wing Vaughn Karvala. That news is coming on Saturday.
