After committing to Indiana on Friday, class of 2027 guard Prince-Alexander Moody wasted no time getting to know Hoosier fans.
The 6-foot-3 Moody received the typical enthusiastic welcome from IU supporters on social media, and the energetic Maryland product spent a good chunk of his weekend interacting with them.
This was all between games while Moody and his Bishop McNamara squad was participating in the DMV Live event in the Washington D.C. metro area.
Indiana is known for having its share of a harsh critics and negativity on social media, but for now it’s all love flowing both ways. Moody was asked about his friendly back-and-forth with IU fans.
“I love the fans. I can’t wait to go down there and turn Indiana up,” he said. “It was fun to see what they had to say. I just like doing that here and there. It’s a good thing to do, and for me I’m just laughing all of the time.”
Even as we were preparing this quick post on Sunday morning, the interactions continued.

My biggest influence is my Uncle Ray @RayBrew4 . He gives me wisdom and keeps me grounded. Telling me it’s bigger than basketball. That I have to make good decisions off the court and that will translate to being a better version of myself on the court.
