Indiana women’s basketball has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season.
Head coach Teri Moren has completely revamped her roster this offseason, with six outbound transfers joining some major pieces graduating. Only five player remain from the 2024-25 roster, with only senior guard Shay Ciezki having played major minutes.
The new-look Hoosiers could face some early tests this year. They played only one true road game in non-conference play last season, at Butler, which still had a heavy contingent of IU fans in the crowd. But this season, Indiana has two non-conference road games: at Florida State on Sunday, Nov. 16, and at Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. ET. IU hosts Butler in between those two games.
After the FGCU contest, Moren’s team will face its toughest competition of the non-conference slate in the Coconut Hoops Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. IU gets Gonzaga on Black Friday, Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m. ET, and then plays either Iowa State or Marquette on Sunday, Nov. 30 at either 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. ET.
The Hoosiers start off with an exhibition game against Missouri S&T on Monday, Oct. 27. They then open the regular season with home games against Lipscomb (Tuesday, Nov. 4), Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 7), and Marshall (Nov. 11).
Indiana should be challenged during that first month. Every team the Hoosiers face in November finished last season in the top 200 on Torvik.
Their schedule gets a little lighter after that. IU has four non-conference games in December, all at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall: Western Michigan (Wednesday, Dec. 3), Louisiana-Monroe (Dec. 11), Eastern Michigan (Dec. 14), and Western Carolina (Dec. 21).
All other game times and TV designations, along with the Big Ten schedule, will be announced at a later date.
