As interest in Indiana football continues to grow, the IU Athletic Department continues to search for ways to improve the fan experience at Memorial Stadium.

The 65-year-old venue has been modified in significant ways through the years.  But what’s next?

IU AD Scott Dolson wants fan feedback on that process.  As he did in 2023, he sent an e-mail to fans on Tuesday morning soliciting feedback on the next phase of enhancements.

Here is what Dolson e-mailed on Tuesday:

    Dear Friend of IU Athletics,
It’s been a historic season for Indiana Football. The 2025 campaign has already included our first Big Ten Championship in 58 years, our first Heisman Trophy winner in program history, and our first-ever No. 1 national ranking. As great as each of those achievements is there’s still more to come, as we are getting ready for our appearance in the Rose Bowl as the top seed in the College Football Playoff. As one of our long-time passionate fans, I hope you’ve enjoyed these successes as much as we have as a program, department, and university.
While we’re focused on all the possibilities that lie ahead in the College Football Playoff, we also have an eye toward a very bright future for the program. In 2023, we solicited your feedback on improvements you’d welcome at Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium. From that feedback, we initiated several key enhancements to improve your gameday experience. With premium seating, the East Side Club, Field Level Suites, Terrace Level Suites, and Corner Level Suites are all new additions since the start of the 2023 season. We also elevated the food and beverage experience with a new partnership with Levy that dramatically overhauled the concessions options for visitors to Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium.
With those improvements in place, we’re ready to explore what’s next.
Below, you will find a link to a survey designed to determine your interest in a number of key fan experience areas. This survey can be completed in 10-15 minutes. Your feedback is critical as we plan for the next phase of improvements to Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium and the surrounding area.
As a thank you for completing the survey, you will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes to receive four tickets and a VIP experience to next year’s season opener against North Texas. In addition, 20 more winners will be selected to receive an autographed Curt Cignetti football.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your preferences for the future of Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium. In doing so, you play a pivotal role in helping the program continue to compete at an elite level!
