IU running back Khobie Martin is progressing. So is tight end Andrew Barker.
They are the only Indiana players on the first week seven Big Ten availability report ahead of this weekend’s showdown against Ohio State.
Martin, who has been out since a first quarter injury suffered in week one is listed as doubtful. This is the first week he has been listed as anything other than out.
Meanwhile Barker, who was injured against Rutgers and out last weekend, is questionable.
Notably absent from the availability report are receiver Lebron Bond and cornerback Carson Williams. Both had been regulars over the last few weeks but appear to be healthy heading into week seven.
Things aren’t as promising for the Buckeyes. Seven players who have seen snaps this year are on their availability report, including a key offensive lineman.
Ohio State starting offensive tackle Austin Siereveld is listed as OUT. He is their highest-graded run blocker at PFF.
Rotational running back Ja’Kobi Jackson is also OUT. Another rotational running back, Isaiah West, is questionable. Jackson and West have the second and third most running back snaps on the team. Backup offensive tackle Deontae Armstrong and receiver Brock Boyd, who has the fourth most receiver snaps, are also questionable on the offense.
On OSU’s defense, backup safety Leroy Roker is OUT, and rotational interior defensive lineman Khary Wilder is questionable.
No. 5/4 Indiana (6-0) and No. 4/5 Ohio State (5-1) kick at Noon ET in Bloomington on Saturday (FOX).
