IU football got a commitment Sunday from class of 2027 interior offensive lineman Caleb Pugh after an official visit this weekend.
“Thank you Coach Cignetti and Coach Bostad and the whole IU staff for the opportunity! Forever grateful for my family who has been my support system my whole life,” Pugh wrote on X.
Pugh worked out at the National College Showcase attended by the IU staff earlier this month.
The 6-foot-3 and 295-pound Pugh attends Grand Rapids Christian H.S. in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Pugh’s offer list included Army, Navy, Western Michigan, and Ivy League and other FCS programs.
Pugh is not currently ranked by the national outlets. He is a three-year varsity starter and all-region. He reports an 80″ wingspan, 10″ hands, 34.25” reach.
In addition to football, Pugh wrestles and competes in track and field.
